The Industrial Engineering Intern Track deals with complex and overlapping Health Care operations and information technology in a Hospital setting, multi-disciplinary physician practice and an academic environment. All three come together to form the University of Miami Medical Campus.
As an intern you will be given the opportunity to apply your new found knowledge and work with seasoned professionals to “hone in” your skill sets. The Industrial Engineering Intern’s goal is to work with teams to optimize complex processes and systems through the use of management science tools.
You will receive mentoring and guidance through our multi-level internship program. You will be given the opportunity to advance through the Industrial Engineering Program. The Industrial Engineering Intern track could lead to an Industrial Engineering or Project Management Position with the Clinical Applications Systems division.
