About UHealth Information Technology

The UHealth Information Technology (UHealth IT) division provides innovative technology solutions and services in support of the medical and research activities throughout the University of Miami Health System. The team provides the resources and expertise to implement, provide training for, support, and optimize all applications across the health system with disciplines including clinical informatics, research, revenue cycle, data and reporting, programming, system and interface design, health information management, system security, training, strategy and more.

UHealth’s comprehensive network includes three hospitals: University of Miami Hospital (a 560-bed, all private room hospital), Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and affiliates Jackson Memorial Hospital, Holtz Children’s Hospital, and the Miami VA. Also supported are UHealth’s more than 30 outpatient facilities in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Collier counties, with more than 1,200 physicians and scientists.
