About MobileNote

The MobileNote application allows clinicians to review patient documentation, create progress notes and record charges at the point of care.

Using MobileNote, clinicians can easily enter critical patient data using voice recognition, making it instantly available to all users for review during rounds. Text and dictation options are also available. At the conclusion of rounds, the attending physician uses the MobileNote system to review data, create assessments and plans, and sign and bill daily critical care progress notes.

The final critical daily progress note is sent to the JMH CERNER system for posting to the patient electronic chart and for JMH billing to deduce charges for hospital services. In addition, the UM professional service charges are sent to UChart.

The application was first deployed in the Ryder Trauma Center intensive care unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital (JMH). It was later expanded to the Neuro, Cardiac, Surgical, Nutrition, Burns, Advanced Critical Service, Trauma Floor Patients, and recently JMH Trauma South.
